Source: Wikipedia
Aarakshan (Hindi: आरक्षण, translation: Reservation) is a 2011 Hindi film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. Directed by Prakash Jha, the film is a socio-political drama based on the controversial policy of caste based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions. Like the majority of Jha's films, it has a simplistic take on complex social and economic issues. The film also stars Prateik Babbar and Manoj Bajpayee.

  1. One of the finest movies and absolutely amazing treatment to a very very sensitive subject that unfortunately still prevails in India..

I personally never had any ill feelings about reservation in India and thought it was a way for under privileged to get a shot at success.

However, this movie has shown a very balanced view and why it is may be still needed.

Casting was almost perfect.. movie wouldn't be as effective without Big B. Manoj Bajpai and Saif have done tremendous job when sharing the screen with the great one.

Best thing was even with big B in the same frame as Hema Malini.. he has shown the humility to perfection..

    Damn politicians!!
