Chalo Dilli

Courtesy: Wikipedia
Plot: Mihika Banerjee (Lara Dutta), a successful investment banker living in Mumbai, misses her flight to Delhi and needs to get there any way possible to meet her husband, Lt. Col. Vikram Rathore (Akshay Kumar). She meets Manu Gupta (Vinay Pathak) and they discover the colours of India in their journey to Delhi. They go by road and train and the audience gets a chance to see both the large urban conglomerations and the small rural areas that make up India.

My thoughts: These two are my favorite actors.. well one actor and other the beauty :) Their combination is fantastic.. absolute contrary to each other but complementing. Vinay is a superb actor, which he has showed by portraying a small shop owner in Delhi. He molds into his character to such perfection that it is hard to imagine how he might be in real life.
The movie is funny, informative, and with a message.. well may be lot of messages :)

The Hangover Part II

Courtesy: Wikipedia
Hangover is hilarious.. the sequel is funny and Alan has got funnier.. though some scenes were gross and not that funny.. overall I enjoyed the movie.. This one has lost the surprise element that made first one unique. However, there were good things to take from the movie..

Phil (Bradley Cooper) was cool and adventurous.. There was not much for Doug in this movie, but Alan (Zack Galifianakis) has got better with dialogues as well as expressions. Stu does a great job of panicking :) keeping everyone on the toes..

Definitely watchable and I think y'all should watch it to have a good time

shor in the city

As the story follows the lives of a bunch of people in Mumbai, I wonder if life in Mumbai is really like that. And I realize, now, most cities have become like that. This movie came as a pleasant surprise. I saw the casting and was apprehensive of the outcome. I am happy I watched it.

Did you read The Alchemist? Its an interesting book. Its like a fable.

Anyway, I like how Tilak has some sort of ideals in what he does (Copy and print cheap editions of books). This character suits Tusshar kapoor the best. The less he talks, the better it is… The wife, Sapna , was pretty good too.Abhaythe NRI, I love this guy. He was really good in Heroes as well. The bachcha friend Mandook,  is very funny.
Saawan– Sundeep Kishan‘s role was probably exactly like how a struggling, talented cricketer is these days, thanks to the cricket scene in India. It is, after all, his plan that made the moviePreeti Desai is completely inconsequential ... I dint much like her role/performance.

Surprisingly watchable. Quite entertaining. If is a comical art movie. The best part of the movie is that it has a happens-every-day sort of a feel to it.
