Band Baaja Baaraat

This was one LOUD movie! And the story sucked and OMG!! the heroine is annoying. I dint like her in Rab ne bana di jodi, I dint like her in Badmaash company and now, I dint like her in Band Baaja Baaraat. I wonder why I even watched the movie. Oh wait! It was RECOMMENDED by Y. If he would be here in STL, he would have a blue clot on his calf.

Anyways.. the only good part about the entire movie was the concept of a wedding planning business in India. I think it would do so well. And the color.

Now that I am done venting, I guess it is an okay watch and maybe we could give the new guys a chance and watch it.

Also, the hero Ranvir Singh, is a debutante and to his credit, he is pretty good for a new guy but then again the frame of reference was Anushka Sharma. So...

Oh well...

An Affair to Remember

I watched "Sleepless in Seattle" the nth time last weekend and I thought, I should watch "An affair to remember" which is referred to in the movie so many times. Of course I had seen the story used in so many other movies...

So, I requested for the movie and I watched "An affair to remember" yesterday. I like classics but I fell in love with this movie. I thought of the lines in the movie, after the movie. Lovely I say.

"Winters must be so cold for those who have no warm memories."

So if you are in the mood to watch a classic romance, while is snows outside the window, try this one.

Yeah yeah, chick-flick.

The characters in a movie were so impressionable in those days. And actors/actresses ACTED... There was a meaning to every movement they made on screen.

I have decided to watch classics when I can...
